I'm abouts to stump up £470ish for a clutch, dual mass flywheel, slave cylinder & rear crankshaft oil seal. As its the biggest parts purchase i have ever made aside from a milltek exhaust does anyone know of anywhere else i can try aside from "car parts 4 less" ?

Yep for the ST220. I knew it would need doing eventually.
Not doing it myself though as it's too big a job but i can get the labour done at no cost so it's not massively more expensive than a set of tyres.
Its the rear crankshaft seal that needs doing which is only £15 but as i want to get 4-5 years out of the car the rest is being done whilst it's in bits, i suspect the clutch is contaminated anyway as I get a hint of slip in higher gears.
I like to maintain my cars properly regardless of how old they are.
Yeh might aswell get the crankshaft seal replaced while doing the clutch as it requires the same parts removing to get at it.
My dad has the 3.0 Titanium X same engine but with 204bhp and he had exactly the same work as you are getting done on his. He only paid £600 at a local garage all in because the mechanic underestimated how bad of a job it actually is on them when quoting. It took him about 4 days to finish and he said “never again” when my dad picked it up lol. That’s why most places charge about £850 because it’s labour intensive.
I’ve had my current ST220 for 12 months now and was feeling smug that I haven’t spent anything on it and having just put 12 months MOT on ready to sell my handbrake has gone all floppy which will be the bloody calliper and a £150 bill no doubt
same thing happened on my previous 220 a few years ago

The guy doing it works for the Wifes dad, her dad kindly lets us have work done & pay no labour.
They used to run a fleet of MK3 Mondeo's which have now all been replaced with other cars but he reckons he can turn it around in 4-6 hours as he has done it about 15 times on TDCi's. There will be a couple of crates of beer in the boot for him for this one though.
I've seen him do a front spring in about 20 minutes before & he replaced the control arms for me in an hour so he knows his way around these things thankfully
That’s good will save yourself 200-300 in labour. Will be very impressive if he can do that in his estimated time of 4-6hrs let me know how it goes!
