Kodi and Xbox one , how do I get it to find my Nas ?

Haven't had a try on mine yet, but from the details I saw it only works with nfs shares. Are you using these with your NAS? If so I assume it is the same as adding an nfs source as with any other platform.

what OS is your NAS running on ?
or what NAS do you have ?
I use CIFS shares for my kodi/xbox to be able to "see" the NAS

It’s a ready Nas duo , I didn’t set the shares up ( not very clever when it comes to this ) it was set up about 4/5 years ago

I would think it should support NFS, but it may not be enable by default. Simply put NFS is a linux file sharing protocol, while CIFS/SMB is a windows one.

What is the exact model?

If you follow the instructions in the link I gave, then under 'Browse for new share' use the 'Network File System (NFS)' option, any NFS shares on your network should be listed if they are enabled.

Just got mine working, seems to work as expected. Looks like the interface for setting up the readynas is fairly simple, so I would check that nfs is enabled for your films/tv shares. Setting to read only access is probably sensible if you are not planning on using for anything else.

Audio passthrough doesn't allow DTS/HD streams but that is kind of expected, took them ages to enable that for bluray only.

As soon as I can kick the lad off the Xbox I’ll have ago at setting mine up

Yeah just got mine setup.
No Samba or Disc access atm as far as I know but NFS shares work great.
I've also got Kodi on my Xbone recording HD freeview now using Microsoft's £5.95 USB DVB T2 :)
