To Vega or Not To Vega

This isn't about that, this is about stating facts to the original poster and facts alone, not some wild gestures, wishful thinking or conjecture. You have no proof that Vega has improved it's performance in VR games, you have no numbers, no benchmarks, no nothing. AMD themselves never claimed to have improved their lackluster performance in any of the change logs of their driver releases, they never bragged about it. And they never expressed remarks about it not on their official Reddit channel and not in the forums here.

So basically all you have is nothing yet you are willing to lie and decieve the original poster through your wishful thinking. And that's what AMD fanatics are here to do all the time. They can't handle the truth and thus seek to confuse the issue and then have the audacity to ignore the truth bearers even though they never resorted to personal attacks or insults. They just posted facts and hard numbers and nothing else. Basically AMD fans are acting like a bunch of bad losers and truth deniers for them to resort to such extreme measures.

I wish everyone of them to block me actually, at least this way they won't get in the way of facts and hard numbers.
And no, owning NVIDIA or AMD cards have nothing to do with being a fanboy for either brands, it's mental thing. A person can own an NVIDIA card out of necessity and still be a rabid AMD fanatic, and a truth denier with the attitude of a sore loser.

Take care.

I cant recommend Vega to play VR games right now as Vega is very poor value at £619-£799 with many VR games on both Vega 56 and Vega 64 are slower than 1070 Ti and 1080 so 1080 Ti is VR King.

In half of these games, Vega 64 is massively slower than the 1070Ti, making it slower than even the 1070. The situation did improve a little than before, but it's still bad. Keep in mind that's the Liquid Vega 64 they are benchmarking, not the Air one, so the numbers will be even lower with the Air Vega 64.

Vega is not for premium VR at this point.

There is only one card that I have seen pass the VRMark Blue Room test and it is not even in that review above.

Actually, never mind. I am not getting into another pointless discussion, because you aren't interested in a discussion. Because I know how this conversation will go. People prove you wrong, you post some completely off topic benchmarks, you call the people who disagreed with you AMD fanboys/ AMD defence force etc. Praise yourself for been completely unbiased and reporting the facts. Yada, Yada, Yada.

I just can't be bothered.
