PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Came across another cheater this week:( Unfortunately for us we ended up wasting 35 minutes of game time to find out:( We came second.

I'm more bothered about lag than cheaters, some of the rubber banding going on is a joke. Lined up a shotgun shot to finish someone off as they ran around a boulder and boom, they zoomed 15 yards away and killed me with full spray. Love that.

Interesting final circle in a duo game last night with my buddy that died.

Ended on top of a tall fence, which meant I was stuck on one side, and the other 2 stuck on the other... very annoying. :D

Also wouldn't your elo rank affect how many cheats you see since they are in the top tiers of ranks.

I was in top 100 NA Solo-FPP since launch and the cheaters have expanded in that mode significantly.

I still haven't come across anyone blatantly cheating in over 500 hours.
The biggest difference is whether you play TPP or FPP.

I only play FPP and have seen quite a few cheaters.

I rarely play on NA, but for me FPP EU is an apparent safe haven.

But even if you've seen a few, that's over hundreds of games I'm assuming which is a lot better than most big FPS titles.
TPP I've heard is riddled with cheats in NA however.

I reckon the slowmo makes it harder to see he's cheating, it's more telling if you see it at full speed. Obviously cheating, just saying for future videos it might be better to show it at full speed.

harder to see hes cheating got a blatant wall hack esp on.:p

just watch where he looks straight at the names of people without seeing them

So I was just shot through a wall from the other side of the house, by a player with a Chinese name

Definitely legit

In 100 hours of TPP EU, ive maybe come across one obvious hacker

Me and a friend decided to totally change our play style at the weekend, only ever jump into school or Hacienda, and I’m enjoying the game so so much more.

You either get killed within the first minute, in which case you go straight back in, or have 5-10 minutes of intense firefights and come away victorious!

We’ve been doing significantly better since we’ve started doing this and stopped taking the game so seriously! We tend to find the more we mess about and shoot each other for taking the only level 3 helmet the better we do :D:p

Probably stupid question here, but how can you tell they are cheating? What should I be looking out for?
it's not obvious to you in the first few seconds? players he would never have been able to see he insta snapped to them and without scoping took them out at that range?!

Snapping to people with hip fire. Nobody actually playing the game aims like that. It's the easiest way to tell people are cheating - they don't zoom in, they just lock on with hip fire and full auto you from 400+ meters.

the funny thing is i only hipfire in every game i play :D

you do that as it saves you split seconds that often gets you the drop on someone.many oldskool players just crosshair shoot without aiming up for that very reason.

Ah ok, well the animation doesn't seem like they are hip firing! Obviously they are not ADS as we can see, but the character pose looks like they are!

But I be there you don't hip fire from 100+ metres away :p
