YouTube star Logan Paul uploads a monetised video of a suicide victim to "raise awareness"

eEZBERq.gif

He makes $36,000 a day through Youtube - over $13,000,000 a year - with 3 million video views a day.

Whilst you may not have heard of him, I think it's fair to say he's a Youtube star.

Why would anyone now watch it ?
Maybe this adult Logan has learning difficulties, if so he deserves help, but otherwise, the limited amount of information the press disclosed said there was only one reason why he would be visiting this location - so no excuses.
plagiarizing the words off Lou Reed RIP "Stick a fork in his *** and turn him over, he's done"

You do anything for hits jake even post on ocuk.

I think I like the fake apologies best, which is all of them. It seems that to be famous with The Youths you also have to be morally bankrupt but only admit that when you say or go one step too far. Then you have to think of some other words to express how your choices were 'poor' or 'misguided at the time' and then post that and hope it goes away (whilst also receiving hits and views from this very same apology video).

I saw stills from the video before it was removed and yes, it's in bad taste but nothing worse. People - people far more dangerous that some youtuber asshat - do much worse things all the time.

Evangelion - I didn't know that, sorry to hear it.

If he is sincere he will stop being an ass. If you look at some of this other videos of Japan he basically spent the days just being a prat, endangering himself and other people like jumping on a moving lorry in the fish market. He spent the whole time disrespecting the place, the people and the culture and apparently that is funny. This is no different than when you are at school, the bully comes over and spit at your lunch and laughs.

We are now meant to think he has a change of heart because the internet starting to turn on him for a day? Give me a break.

He will be back at his old self next week doing stupid stuff.

my god its this kind of rubbish is why everyone think all youtubers are millionaires.

3 million a day views = £1800 maybe little less.do the maths.

That's still nearly £700,000 pa before sponsorship, assuming 3,000,000 views is an average day.

What am I doing with my life? All I need to do is become a douche, film me doing irrelevant things and have a totally rad haircut (check ) and I will be a millionaire!

this is the problem with people who think youtube is all easy lol. Being creative, unique and having the time for video editing etc is full time job. Things take a lot of time and usually they turn into a full time job as soon as you want to post 3-4 times a week.

Try making videos you'll get one view a week ;)

Haha I know, just fooling around (plus I much prefer been behind the camera rather than in front of). Posting a 15 minute video every day for over a year must be a grind! I will just stick to my anti-Trump and anti-May/Tory government posts on Facebook :o:p

Doing something in which a large group of idiots like watching doesn't make you a 'star' regardless of what you might think though, that was the point i was making

Through youtube and other sources, I should have said. That would include Facebook, Instagram and other bits.

And I'm sure you're aware that at that many views the normal linearity of youtube income goes out of the window.

In any case, last year he bought a house in California for $6.5million.

Advertising obviously works. Must be huge sums of money involved, many billions. However their target audience must be around 12-18 years old. Hardly people with a lot of money. Bit creepy in a lot of ways, making millions off the backs of teenagers. But I guess the companies behind the ads are making money out of it. I really need to find a documentary explaining advertising and companies returns from it. Any suggestions?
