It's an age-old question I know, but I'm asking again :p

As the title says, I have an Alphacool UT60 360 radiator and need 3 120mm fans for a pull configuration. Standard 25mm thickness and PWM. What would you go for?

So far I'm looking at the Corsair ML120 Pro, some flavour of EK Vardar or some flavour of Noctua. Of course there's be Quiet too.

No lighting required because the rad is tucked away and the fans won't shine through the case floor's hole pattern (although if any recommendation does a nice job lighting the fan blades in white then I'm interested).

Cheers!

the good old gentle typhoon
ek vardar
noiseblocker eloop
bequiet silentwing 3

vardar or eloop would be my choice (gt1850 user here:)).

another vote for the Vardar's here too

you can get them in pure white too... i'm using them on my Diamond Frost build :D

It's not the colour of the fans as the rad and fans are hidden, but should an illuminated fan light up the blades evenly then I could get a wee bit of light through the floor and do a soft bit of uplighting into the body chamber. It's not a priority though :p

Vardars are ok and are great at pushing air but buzz at low to medium speeds, GT's are great but no option for pwm and hard to find. In the end i settled for ML pros, the fans are silent at any speeds the only noise being the air flow.

Being overly fussy i have noticed with GT's they have a slight gritty noise to them, the only ones I've been quite happy with noise wise are Noctua i think. I'll have to compare again soon.

As someone else mentioned as well the Noiseblockers do tend to make sounds other than air being pushed.

Don't know why it's so difficult to get a fan that doesn't make any noise apart from whooshing air.

Fans are very subjective, personally not a fan of the Varders as they seem to vibrate quite a lot, yet some people seem willing to kill their first born with comments of "tried everything and they are best"

Ive tried pretty much everying and find most of the noiseblocker brand are the best for lack of vibration and motor noise, but as you can see above others disagree. :(

Thanks to all.

Not buying anything just yet as I still have case work to finish chopping up, but I'll see if I can get my hands on some samples. ML120 Pro and a Silent Wings 3 to start methinks.
