the 970 is going to struggle a little with pubg.though with lower settings probably keep around 60 fps

one thing that pleases me and people say the game isnt optimized is look at old cards like a 7950.at 1080 on low they can get like 60 fps.which is really good tbh.especially in a 2017 game.

thing is many people play with mostly low settings.so if you dont do ultra everything it can run well on older gear.maybe its not that un optimized after all :D
 
well the thing is with all that is going off 100 people on the server you cant have crysis 3 style graphics and good performance.look in here the most common comments about this game is either its not optimized or cheating. i think the game looks pretty decent.im used to this style from playing arma and mods based the same kinda line.it does the job well.the last thing you want or need is extra bloom this that in your way.most drop graphics low in mp games of a competitive nature anyway.so would be a waste.
 
I played Joint Ops: Typhoon Rising back in 2003-2004, it managed similarly huge player counts on reasonably large maps without looking like it was made to run on hardware from 10 years prior. Don't get me wrong, it's not quite on the same scale as PUBG and I'm far from the sort of person who thinks graphics make a game, but saying it runs well on older hardware for a 2017 game doesn't mean a lot when it's visually quite basic. It's certainly improved since the early days but I'd be expecting some significant improvements yet.
 
Can someone explain the end game scorecard to me? What are hit points? I got 71 Hit points but only 1 kill. Reply shows i did 380 overall damage

By that logic 1 hit point amounts to roughly 5 damage points to health/armor. Any info on hit points is appreciated as it just leaves me baffled at the end of a game.
 
apparently 20 points = one life from max health to death. So you did enough damage to kill three people, but they healed up after each hit. Were you sniping?
 
Everything is done client side so his client is telling the server he's hitting them so it's legit :)

I seen a video of instance heal now, it's getting nuts

Well I'm hoping when they next do a ban wave they do it because they've fixed the most recent cheat everyone seems to be using. I've got a feeling a huge amount of people are using the same cheat so if they can figure it out and get rid of it the cheaters should drop until new cheats are developed.

Yup, this game is totally client based. Means it has a fatal flaw. The game will be a ghost town come spring.
