I read about this a few days ago and have ever since gone for the pan. The first time I heard the pings was when I'd been knocked flat on my face and whilst under fire, started crawling to my team mate to be healed. I laughed so hard I ended up dying. :D

This is all I play at the moment. I absolutely love it. I've been duo'ing with my son and we're both having an absolute blast. We're both left shaking with excitement after some games. :)

But so far, the chicken dinner is yet to be eaten. Closest I've come is 3rd; my boy got a very close 2nd last night.
 
Just a real shame you cant join a server with your friends on other teams or solo's, would be great meeting them on the map and seeing who survives the longest, im sure it could be done.
 
Update has smoothed the frame rate out considerably, although still far from a perfect experience. But very much better.

@Daytrader , the teaming would be horrific if they implemented this! Squads of 8 people running around....!

Can you not just join at the same time anymore? I have seen teamers on SoloQ before.

You'd have to be careful not to break the teaming rule though, something to bare in mind.

My mate bought it after the recent update, whereas I bought it on release.

I've found it a lot more stable now, but ironically it crashed on him when we were playing duo mode last night.

Right towards the end of the game as well, as there was only 17 people left alive at that point. I managed to kill a few people and protect him whilst he got back in the game, and we made to the last 8.
 
Another chicken dinner last night playing squads. Managed 6 kills (1 being the final kill) which is the most I've had in a single game before. Still had all 4 of our squad left to which was a first. Thats 3 squad dinners this week (2 on Monday and 1 last night).

It all comes down to circle placement. We basically had Polyana to ourselves as more and more people seem to wait until the plane is halfway across the map now before jumping. As a result we had awesome loot. Suppressed SMGs, flash hider equipped ARs with 4x scopes. In addition we were able to position ourselves on the high ground to.

As for the update. We experienced some of the worst lag we've seen on the game last night. So yeah, still plenty room for improvement.
 
Got both an S and Scorpio and the latest update is a massive improvement, feels a lot more stable and I’d say frames you can feel an improvement on both consoles.
 
The only noticeable difference for me (on an X) is the speed that you can now spin the camera when jumping outta the plane. Game still crashes and lag is still awful.

yeah i got it for the 4k dvd player , its only meant to up scale games , but this game only kicks up (and displays ) 4k (sets back light and contrast to 100)
