Looking for a sealed mug that can be trusted not to leak if left in a bag that might get rolled around. Preferably thermal.
Thanks.
Andi.

I spy a possible market here for OcUK. OcUK branded travel mugs! :p

Thermos make some good ones though they are also quite pricey.

As someone who's been down this road many times over the years, the answer is this: THey don't exist. You might find one that leaks very little, but it'll still leak. I suspect this is down to the coffee / tea contracting as it cools down, creating a vacuum which messes with seals.

In my experience, get a proper screw top only Thermos, not a travel mug. As an added bonus, they generally stay hotter for longer.

You could get a screw top thermos with one of those press buttons on the top for pouring into an ordinary thermal mug!
Probably the same issue with leaking as the travel mugs due to vacuum, but you can pour it without unscrewing it!

Contigo all the way. I've spent a fortune on cheaper travel cups but haven't had to spend a penny since then as it has been fantastic.
Keeps my coffee hot for over 10 hours of my shift and is 100% leak free.

I have a Chilly's bottle which does not leak and keeps things hot for 12 hours or so (cold for 24).

You can't drink out of it directly though, unless you have asbestos lips. It's a bottle not a mug though, so not that useful in this context maybe.

I have mine simply to avoid having to buy milk etc for work and store at work when I can just take a large bottle of tea to pour into my mug ready made.

You must drink your coffee very slowly for it to last 10 hours. :p

The trick is the second you pour in the hot water, close it, then shake it. It will then leak/hiss.

Then undo the top, then close it again. Now it's sealed.
