Me and my wife have 2 other couples over tomorrow... can you recommend a decent funny boardgame?

I remember playing one years ago, were you had to describe what's on the card ie lighthouses, but without saying the actual word?????????

Thanks

Cards Against Humanity
Joking Hazard
Scrawl
Exploding Kittens
Unstable Unicorns

All a good laugh, and get played all the time with my group of friends.

The bowl game (self made, and not the one involving keys).

Each person writes two famous people and two famous places on a piece of paper (famous = known by everyone), folds them and puts them in a bowl. Each team takes it in turns to describe as many words as possible in 60 seconds to their teammate, so basically Taboo. When the bowl is empty if it's half way through a go the time is stopped, they all go back in and it becomes one word (describe the person or place just using one word). Carries on until the bowl is empty again and then it becomes charades.

Gets quite confusing after 2/3 games as you have to remember words but previous rounds complicates things. And it's fun because it's personalised; the person or place could be someone's mum or your hometown etc.

Edit: As above, no point buying a game like Articulate when it's free and more fun to write your own.

Code names is a cracking game if you have an even number of people who aren't really into board games.

What sort of games do the audience like? We play a lot in our group
