i have a 8700k(8pack 5ghz chip) and a 1080ti, I have a 360 and a 240 rad in the loop going pump, cpu, 360 rad, gpu, 240 rad to res/pump, now my gpu is at stock 1961mhz and it’s nice and cool 47-48c after hours gaming, but my cpu on the other hand that hits 70c on the cores after a heavy gaming session, it’s running at 5ghz on all the cores no AVX reduction and 5ghz on the cache, is that ok, I’m thinking of getting another pump and putting the cpu and gpu in separate loops

Safe, just seems a tad toasty for custom loop and all, as it's a delid. But all depends on the Vcore/LLC which if you mentioned then others could give you feedback on how hot theirs get at the same voltage.

It is a bit toasty but as 8 pack himself has stated, nothing to worry about.

The main reason is you've got the GPU in there which will add a lot of extra heat to loop. My 8700k on AIO for ref hits mid 60's in games at 5.1ghz.

It also depends a lot on ambient, fans, speed, case flow etc etc but either way 70c is perfectly fine.

Well I have made I bit of a faux pas I had both my rads pulling into my case which was dumping a lot of heat, I now have my top rad exhausting and I’m now stable at 5.1ghz 1.376v max realbench temp of 72c on the hottest core
