I’m baffled as to why England flags are an appropriate way of commemorating his death.
Pretty sure people can remember him however they want. Why arent they an appropriate way?

Looks like any given chavs house during the world cup combined with an EDL wet dream.

I’m baffled as to why England flags are an appropriate way of commemorating his death.
The problem with is this specific killing has attracted a minority element using it as part of their wider campaigns against Muslims or people who don't have white skin, against the wishes of his family and the wider community.
With an official memorial, this is a non story in my eyes.

It's a shrine to racism, get a clue. **** all to do with remembering anyone.
Some might argue the killers were racist, lee had nothing to do with whats happening in the middle east..

Why is it a shrine to racisim. When you see memorials at the side of the road often they have football shirts etc etc. Its a shrine to racism because in your narrow
Mind putting up england flags is suddenly racist, maybe your a closet racist?
Some of those flags have messages of support on them etc, really dont see how its been turned into such an issue.

Isn’t it insensitive to put up English flags when the killers were also born here? Or are the people putting these flags up trying to make a point? English flags aren’t racist, obviously, but pretending there is no subtext here is hilarious.
The council has.
Then I don’t really see the problem with removing it.

That sounds a lot like you’re defending people’s right to use him as some sort of political talisman, which has parents have got upset about in the past.
How is it a shrine to racism?
It looks pretty messy, sure and I'd wager some of the people in those flats think it could do with being tidied up... but racism? Because there are some flags there or something? That is pretty silly - there isn't anything inherently racist about displaying national flags especially in relation to the death of a serviceman.
