holes are funky

Well I've ordered a junior hacksaw. Can't decide whether to cut a big ol' hole in the back then, or something smaller for the fans to fit. Hmn. This is Sunday's job...drill plus the biggest hole cutter you can find to fit said drill
That's my plan now I've seen sense about fans. Like duh I need to cut a hole to allow for the cables hanging out the back, so err no I can't put fans there insteadTake the measurements of the rear of the receiver and cut out a rectangle big enough so the back of the amp will hang through.

apparently it takes 650W so could be dissipating more heat than an htpc and need similar ventilation - low inlet plus higher outlet holes ... probably some obligation for the warranty ?but if i was sticking a HTPC in i would use a 120mm hole cutter and fit a couple of fans
I'd consider replacing the back panel with something like the punctured MDF panels used to cover radiators.
That will keep the rigidity, allow plenty of ventilation through the whole unit, and make cutting holes for cables etc easier.
had clocked this thread after earlier discussion, showing nice build quality and heatsink used in the series, also ventilation 'deck' proposal, to suck some air through its chassis,Yep it's the SR5012
