Insurance company not giving online quote anymore

Admiral seem like such a sketchy company with dubious business practices I'm surprised anyone uses them.

I have my M3 with direct line. They quoted £600 to begin with and I spoke to them on the phone and it ended up at 470. Quite a saving for a ten minute phone call!

I've always used fake details to test different job titles (same job just different description), mileage , named drivers etc and see what mods would cost.

The final price may vary a bit when using real details but the changes that made the price cheaper before should still have a cost saving.

Started doing it after admiral asked me on the phone why I've been changing all these things.

In my case in my early twenties it was because they would insure me for £700 to £800 and the next best quote I managed was almost double that. They're as dodgy as they come but as cash strapped young driver they're often unavoidable unless you want to throw what little money you can spare away :p

Most comparison sites are strange. I was testing the water to see how much my renewal would be and the cheapest was £250 with Esure. When my renewal came through the door it was £200 which is also Esure. Still twelve quid more than last year although I guess that is brexit ;).

In most cases it is best to ring. I guess most comparison sites have comission factored in.
