TV/Soundbar warranty?

Hi,

Apologies if this is in the wrong place but I couldnt think of where else to ask.

Three years ago my parents bought a new TV/Soundbar which were on offer together as a bundle at a large electronics store.

As of today the soundbar seems to be dead.

Upon looking for any warranty information we found the receipt which states that the TV has got 5 years warranty. From what I can tell they seem to offer 5 year warranty with quite a few of the TVs they sell.

I went onto the website on the receipt and enetered the ref code etc which leads me to a page showing that yes, the tv is still within the warranty window. Whenever I click to try and see further details of this warranty, the page just says that its down for maintenance so I cant see anything else.

Would you say that the soundbar falls under the same warranty since they were bought as a bundle and are seen as so on the receipt etc?

It seems like a stupid question now that I've written it down, but I just dont know lol. Obviously I'll know for sure whenever the website is no longer under maintenance, but I just have the feeling that it will be down forever.

Thanks!

Probably not.

Despite being bought on the same deal, they are likely to have different warranty periods. (My TV has 5 years but my soundbar only has 3 - both Samsung)

Is the soundbar detailed on the receipt?

The receipt has got the name of whatever the deal was called at the time with the price next to it, then underneath there is a list of what is included: TV, Soundbar, and what I can only assume is some cables. They are only priced as a bundle.

I'm not 100% sure that the soundbar is really completely broken. It's such a silly issue, the wireless subwoofer wont connect to the soundbar, and the soundbar wont connect to the tv, so I'm assuming that its an issue with the wireless sender/reciever within the soundbar. I have no idea where to go for help. Any online searches just lead back to the pairing method which obviously doesnt work.

Haha that seems like a bit much for a couple in their mid 60s :D
