PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

https://youtu.be/0aTGP4Filyc

This is my targets perspective (I'm CellularInternet) so you can see his health and med use. 7 SKS rounds just to get rid of the vest, hit him 9 rounds by the time he headshot me and he had enough health to take two more SKS rounds. That seems a bit excessive to me. Ya I was in the circle and he was out, could have been more cautious but I was hammering this guy. Didn't realize you could survive that many hits.

After that match I died to the blue from crashing two games in a row, fun stuff.

Then last game of the night died to this cheater:

Aimbot tracking people through the world, ranked #10 on NA. Was making a video and found out it was 10 GB with clarity enough to show what was going on and said screw it. Not uploading 10GB to youtube. It's pretty obvious if you can be ranked #10 after 93 games and still continue to cheat unabated, the anti-cheat systems in this game are worthless.

I mean look at this nonsense:

You dont have cry about most of the games you play Vega. The fact the clip lasts 3.5 minutes says it all. that's the length of pretty **** the full 2nd circle. In one fight O_o

So I’ve finally played this game and finding it strangely addictive even though I get my ass handed to me most of the time. My first game I think I ended up 3rd more by chance than anything as did not see a soul. Then ran over a street and took fire. Hid behind an outhouse and unlucky for me other player had a line of fire on that side.

Nothing more tense than landing with several other players and 2 of you head for the same building looking for any gun and quickly trying to load a clip. One game I had a fist fight with one chap and came out on top lol.

I find the ADS quite slow so need to remember to hip fire in CQB. The 4x scope I could not use for love for money. Was running across the desert and saw a guy slightly ahead. Angled him off, went prone with the M16A4, single fire in the back and he just turned around with the scar on full auto and took me out. Sticking to iron or red dot sight going forward.

Noise wise – is there any way to move around quietly? Even crouching or prone I seem to make noise and I assume if I can hear it then a nearby enemy also can.

You can hold the Ctrl button to move really slowly, although you'll never be completely silent.

This is pretty much how I play the game 90% of the time now. The most annoying element of the game is taking the time to build up an arsenal, getting to the last 10-20 then getting shot in the back or getting done over by the circle.

I like to fly into a populated area and get into a firefight early, it's much more fun. I tend to kill someone/a couple then get killed :p

Yeah I was running nicely in the last 6th in one game and had stocked up courtesy of a care package. Took a guy out with the SKS then went up on a roof and saw another guying legging it alongside a field. Lost track of the circle closing in and hadn’t worked out by then that as it gets smaller the damage it gives is higher. Before I have just been outrunning it and using meds to top up.

It amazes me how many times I land in a group and find a pistol quick and take out one guy but the next already has an AR, helmet etc. Is there any pattern to the way better weapons are located or is it completely random? I’ve noticed that there never appears to be anything in a bathroom so don’t bother going in once I have opened the door.

Oh and skydiving in. I’ve worked out that using forward and mouse pointer to go vertical gets me to about 234kph but other players always seem to have extra speed when chute is opened and landing. I pull legs back to face the ground directly but is there a better way?

Not using the SKS anymore, that thing does garbage damage. Watched a replay of my death last game, I hit a dude nine times with it and he could easily out-heal. I don't care how much gear you have, you shouldn't survive nine DMR shots. Naturally this noobs solo M24 shot out of like 20 misses kills me with a headshot.

Instant heal cheat.

Just before the chute opens, let go of pushing forward, then as soon as the chute starts to open, push forward again. This seems to help you drop that bit quicker.

you weren't doing head or torso hits, going by the relatively low damage his character was taking. that's why it appeared to take so many hits to take out his vest. thanks for posting but that isn't going onto my list. sorry to say but that is on you rather than the gun nerf.

also it's a bit ironic to be calling the guy that killed you a noob.....how many rounds did you fire at him? he also didn't single shot kill you. he had already hit you, hard. guessing your armour/helmet were rinsed. you also kept peeking the same 2 positions. that said, you're probably right that he was a noob. any half decent player would have scalped you in the first 30 seconds of that engagement. your positioning was woeful and all over the place.

why did you even engage him in the first place, your aim is clearly not good enough to be going for those sorts of engagements. play to your strengths, get close, uzi/ump/vector are your weapons of choice when your aim isn't up to it.

I don't often agree with @~>Dg<~ but he sums it up perfectly.....
it was pretty painful to watch

I found myself 1 vs 1 last night with a guy when landing ! I was screaming down my mic at him that I was going to chop his head of with the machete I just picked up lol - he picked up a Scar and was trying to load his gun & i was just sweeping the blade at him and on my last swipe I downed him and he died! HaHa he must have been so P**** but it was well funny.

I use to find this game very tense but I now play the game really relaxed when in tense situations, I'm just waiting for the other player to make the move out in the open and then boom! I use to find myself running at players and dying a lot , I have over 400 hours on this game now so I guess over time you learn what works and what doesn't. Still loving it thou after so many hours.

watched the video.you were in a terrible position.you missed 90 percent of your shots.you had literally no cover.never sit low on that hill if you can try and be high up rather than low down.it was pretty painful to watch.

Am I missing something here lol? Isn't Vega the guy in the building? Not the guy on the hill?

That's the longest exchange of weapon fire I think I've ever seen in this game though :P

still bad play.basically you want to be up high.anyone on hill and you at bottom you lucky if you will make it up alive.especially at the end and with the wave.its easier to kill from a elevated position firing down than it is firing up.

not at all - he's a pro CS:go player for years - up there with the best. Great game sense, reactions etc - he's just better than most people!
+1

At the end of the day, no one can say with 100% certainty that he isn't cheating, but IMO the hackcusations are absurd. He regularly has ~30K people watching him, even if he has this elusive $20K "private hack", people would be posting clips of him daily rather than once a week or so. With that many eyes and Internet detectives it would be impossible to hide. He also has a ton of stream snipers just running blindly right to him every game, not exactly hard for him to pick up lots of frags against lemons.

The best counter-argument is to watch the guy playing normally outside of combat - his movement and looting is so crisp and methodical, and you'll see his aim naturally snap and track angles/edges of buildings etc.

Laff, I knew the "if it were me I'd 360 spin headshot him" quips from the peanut gallery would come out. Ya 9 hits versus 2, and I was taking fire from another direction. I peeked from four different spots, not two. Elevation had no advantage in this fight. I didn't have to go up the hill, he had to come down the hill. The point is he could survive over 10 SKS shots, which is excessive. I win those sort of engagements all the time, he simply got lucky I peeked 10ms too long.

Pro-tip: if you have a SKS with 4x going up against an M24 with an 8x, you peek extremely fast, making headshots much more difficult. I was simply bored and it got the best of me. But I'm sure you guys are so-bad ass you would have headshot him on the first hit. ROFL, keyboard warriors.

I thought it was 9 shots, now you're saying 'over 10'?

no one has said they would have 360 spin headshotted him.

you enganged, failed to kill your target. you quickly learned he had a bigger gun. you also quickly learned your aim was potato (at least in this engagement) the sensible non-noob thing to do was to disengage or reposition. you were outgunned, out aimed (just about - he was pretty poor) and out positioned. it was 100% ego/noobishness caused you to continue that engagement.

you peeked the middle window (on the right as the target was viewing) and the right hand side wall of the building 4 times each (roughly), you ran out into the forecourt and jumped up ad down (why?) he was also re-adjusting due to hearing gun fire in the distance. you need to face reality, the moment you potato aimed and shot into the dirt at the start of the engagement, then managed to clip him in either the arm or leg you were destined to fail at that engagement. a half decent player with the m24 would have ended the encounter the second time you crouch peeked the building.

edit:
The point is he could survive over 10 SKS shots, which is excessive.
no it's not. you were allowing him to heal. you were not doing serious armour/helmet damage. if you had taken his vest or helmet early on and he had still been taking shots and surviving I'd have agreed but you were panic firing because you knew (maybe subconsciously) he had a 1 kill gun is his hands.
don't blame the game for your failure to understand the situation you were in.

You know what first aid kits and boosts do in this game? You hit him like once every 25 seconds lol. So he could just chill and heal behind his cover.

In fairness, you posted a mediocre clip challenging a guy with an M24 when you had circle advantage. I'm not sure what you expected? People to agree that you should have won the fight?
