Baught a car. Broke down

I will be expecting new discs and pads. The disks where red hot by the time I could pull over. Orange staining round the edges also where they were heated up.

Why did you call the AA when an approved used BMW has its own breakdown service? Letting a third party work on the car doesn't seem sensible.

A couple of hard stops at road speeds will do absolutely naff all to the brakes, your brakes didn't get that hot they discoloured around the edges.

sorry just to clarify the car was stock as a peter vardy bmw and which was transferred to the motorstore which i was purchasing a car from.

the smoke bellowing from both front wheels would indicate that they got pretty hot.

the second time the brakes jammed on i had to get myself off the motorway to safety so i was driving for another half a mile with my front brakes on.

the car was in edinburgh they moved it over to glasgow. don't see an issue with that, and at this point its not my concern. i have a car that broke down 6 hours after buying it.

I just don't understand why it wasn't simply recovered by the dealer leaving you with a hire car and nothing to worry about. That's why I buy BMWs from franchised dealers.

They have to fix it basically. You also have the right to reject the car if you wish, just tell them whats happened and tell them to collect it.
