I did about 30 miles in my F11 when a tyre blew out once. I think you can do up to 50 miles or so. Would keep it to an absolute minimum though.

What?! The answer is zero - drive zero miles on a completely flat tyre that has literally blown out.
The only time you can drive on a tyre with a pressure issue is if the tyre is a runflat tyre which has just been punctured conventionally, if its literally gone bang and blown out how is that safe?
Runflat tyres are designed to get you home after a puncture not allow you to spend the rest of the week going about your business

Any point in using one of those tyre weld cans in the meantime? Is Holt’s 500ml the go to for 19”? I’ll need some for when I get the AS3 anyway.
I was doing 5-10mph when it popped, a lady thought it was a gunshot! Any idea what could cause that?
Guess I’ll leave the car in the work car park and hire something for 3 days.

I have an '02 Honda CRV, running on 205/70 R15 96H tyres. We've had a set of Bridgestone, then a set of Yokohama Geolandar SUV, and presently we're running on a set of Nexens.
None have ever felt great, so looking for sone advice on where to go next. Looking for the best option for wet weather really, ideally not too noisy. Budget of £400 all in.

Can't comment on any of the others but I highly rate the AD08R, useable in the wet although grip isn't brilliant as expected, in the dry it's another story, they'll happily put 300bhp/250ft-lbs on the road in any gear (At that's with a small 195/50/15 too)

Looks like I need four new tyres...last time I bought any the recommendations were Continental (on here I think).
My car is a 15 plate fiesta ecoboost (1.0l). The current tyres are Continentals...they've done about 53,000 miles (since new). The tyres are between 2 - 3mm.
Last time I used event tyres to fit them remotely, will probably use these again unless anyone has anything against them? Super convenient.

Any opinions on event tyres? Looking at 316 for four (CONTINENTAL PREMIUM CONTACT 5 @ £79.14 INC VAT EACH), with mobile fitting, standard valves, balancing and tyre disposal.

Had the Eagle F1 AS3s fitted to my E93 at the weekend and liking them so far, not a night and day difference from the Potenza run flats they replaced but definitely smoother and better grip.
If choosing run flats for a BMW X3 19” is there much difference between the Potenza, Excellence and Efficientgrip tyres? These will replace Pzeros. It looks like Hankook Ventus are also available in this size.
Is there a reason why my fronts are 98Y rated and the rears are 101Y? Is it safe to replace either with 102Y?

Thoughts on swapping rear tyres from 255/35 to 245/40? I realise its about a 2% profile change, wheel is 8.5J so almost over-tyred in 255 form... No stretching wanted!
From reading it seems to be a better ride thanks to the taller sidewalls, and width isn't an issue as 245 is plenty to put down 230bhp I'm sure
