Hi, so in most games I tend to have this white shimmer around edges of objects in the distant, it doesn't look great and wondering if there is a fix for this as it's pretty annoying.

I have a GTX 1080, I'm guessing there may be a option in Nvidia Control Panel but don't have a clue where to start.

Thanks.

Monitor res and jpg res don't seem to match. Jpg seems to be 1600x900 monitor 1080p.
Have you used GeForce Experience to set optimum settings?
Andi.

Do you have nvidia control panel enforcing settings?

Just to clarify a few points:
- gtx 1080.
- 1080p monitor.
- is the problem sudden, or always been there?
- did a new card, or monitor cause the issue?
- just games? Or movies and desktop apps too?
- all games or some games?
- have you tried using a tool to completely uninstall the NV drivers and reinstall them?
- are you using GeForce experience? (I never use it so can't offer advice, but it's good for laymen or so I hear)
- latest drivers?
- does using presets other than ultra affect the issue in any way?

I no what you are on about i had it on my 970gtx 2 years back. Same never showed up on video or screen shots but playing it was very noticeable. Never solved it and in end i gave the pc to my brother who doesnt care about graphics and i got a new one with a 1080gtx and is fine but still with the odd shimmering as you describe but not half as bad. I have a 1080gtx on 1440p Dell S2716DG monitor now.
