Sort yourself out a space saver and jack (assuming you can get one to fit). The lack of spare in a modern car is a joke.
Its probably not actually called this, but the SL class cars come with a space saver which is extremely compact, far more so than the normal space saver. It does require inflation before use but the cars come with a compressor inside the foam insert.I didn’t realise there was such a thing as a super spac saver! Thanks, I’ll have a look!
And they have 19 inch UHP tyres in stock? I've never been able to get tyres like that same day from even large tyre depots let alone a mobile place at midnight.
Well it was really wasn't it, it surely goes without saying that a service, 24/7 or otherwise, is still only of use if it's providing the service you actually needNo, but that wasn't the question

Thats it, great video to demo itVredestein, isn't it. Pretty clever solution.
LOL you no have a spare wheel for your carGot a puncture in my front passenger tyre at 10PM, repair sealant did nothing, have no spare wheel). Left the car in a lay-by about 5mins walk from home.

But then again most people that ride motorbikes don't have spare wheels for them..
You can push a car as well...Yeah, but worst case scenario you can push a motorbike!
Wouldn't want to hit a pothole with that super space saver, the spokes look thinner than my old BMX!!

ahh a spare is extra thats not a good idea
I got a spare wheel in my 2016 focus STMost manufacturers got rid of them. They cited cost, the fact that drivers rarely used or maintained them, and the extra weight that brought their fuel use specs down. There is also the issue that on a lot of performance cars the left/right front/back can be different, so a spare might not be safe as it doesn't correctly match the set..
