At the moment i have a 500GB SSD as my boot drive and i have fitted an M.2 drive for my games folder but it's not showing in windows.

Checked Disk Management but it only shows my 500GB SSD, also using SSDLife only shows my 500GB SSD.

It is enabled in the BIOS as it shows up when i click boot options.

I'm running the latest BIOS. It also doesn't show in Device Manager.

Motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 and the M.2 is the Samsung EVO 960.

Any software i can try?

on w7 you have to install the nvme driver during windows install to get the drive working/recognised.

. . .
I had the driver from the Gigabyte website which didn't work but that one did, thank you.
He now seems to have got the M'2 drive recognised and doesn't mention reinstalling Windows - perhaps just an oversight stemming from his excitement at having got it to work?

You only need to add it to the ISO if you plan on using it as OS boot drive with Windows 7 i believe. Otherwise you can just install the driver from within Windows as OP did.
