Having issues with the above card

It did one run of fire strike and GPU score was 30k
Since then it won't get past the first section and fps low
In RS6 siege it's getting 40 FPS where as I have just put my gtx 1080 in and that's getting 80.
I've tried using the normal mode no overclock same result I've upped the power limit
Temps r fine
Load looks normal 96 and above

Any ideas please
Msi 370 pro
16gb ram
8700k
600w PSU

Il get back on to this tonight I had to put the 1080 back in as the buyers collecting tonight .

So once he's been il start from scratch
So remove all drivers
Sort power limit

It's strange as once it's gone crap once nothing fixes it i.e dropping all settings to low FPS exactly the same
If I then restart it goes back too 100 plus FPS then suddenly will freeze or in the case of firestrike just says ended .

I let it chug through firestrike last night and it got 13k so it's not performing at all.

ok so I unistalled and re installed drivers

card ran fine both 3d mark and r6 after half an hour of gaming temps not even 60c yet fps just drops to next to nothing I then tried firestrike and its getting like 20 fps now

You could try a different PSU as it could be getting starved of juice depending on the age/rating of the unit you have, worth a shot if nothing else is showing to cause the issues.

Hi

The PSU is a 600w 80+ cooler master. If I brought a new PSU and it isn't that can they be returned

According to nividia a 550 w is enough

Gigabyte state in there specifications minimum psu is 600w, depending on age, other components in the build and any overclocking you could be tipping it over the edge. Your best bet is to try and get loan of one of a friend to test if not some retailers may allow you to return but best check with individual store first

I think il have to return card it runs fine for one or two runs of a benchmark then just goes in slow motion I don't see any problems in the log I've also once it slows down tried letting it take more power but nothing works unless power off and go again .

Can they go into any sort of limp mode so to speak

It's painfully slow
