OcUK HQ Motors Meet - Saturday 3rd March 2018

I’ll do my best, might not bring the Scania if my other half doesn’t want to come out (can’t drive both myself!)

The weather should get progressively better over the next 24 hours. The high winds seem to have pushed everything over quickly:

Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to be able to make this one - I was planning on doing the 3 hour 20 min drive from Durham but at the minute the cars not going anywhere, got ContiPremiumContact 2's (front of which are in need of a change) which I can say are not the best in the snow :P

Well my R8 is in Tamworth and I could not get out of my drive yesterday afternoon to collect it as we have a small drift that simply bogged down the A4 loaner I have. I got stuck for 30 minutes until a neighbor and his young son dug me out. I might head out later to have another go but another neighbor turned back this morning in his Defender because it was struggling! Unlikely I will be there chaps I am afraid, though more because with my current medical battles I don't really have the stamina for standing outside in such temps for a long period of time, but let's see.

Admire the Dunkirk spirit!

Would not expect to see you, but if you come, chill out in our shop, or you can even go upstairs in the offices as I know you and cuddle the coffee machine. :D
 
Today is fine, the snow has mostly gone. This is the road which ocuk business park is on (right at these lights)

I think I’m going to declare myself out, sorry. It just started snowing down here (Milton Keynes) again and by all reports even some of the main roads around here aren’t great let alone the rural roads I need to use for the first couple of miles. Just don’t want to chance it in the M3.

Worse case 15-20, best case 40-50.

I am going, mate in M3, mate in S5, mate in truck, mate in mini plus a couple more so that is 5. Kosta, Kindai and a few others here, so that is 10 plus quite a few others still intend coming down, got quite a lot of local guys too.
