Hi, I'm after something that can play the latest Hitman game and GTA but I've no idea where to start. Researching different components is taking ages and reviews differ hugely.

Any advice please?
 
No budget in mind just a rig that's capable. I don't know what components work best with which, that's my major issue at the moment.

Define capable. High settings and 60+ fps at 1080p resolution as smooth as possible?

If so, gaming video card with 4GB VRAM (1050Ti/RX 570 minimum but preferably 1060 6GB/RX 580 8GB), a 3000MHz+ 16GB memory kit, and an i5-8400/Ryzen 1600 processor. Also an SSD large enough for Windows, your programs and a couple of fave games, so 250GB SSD minimum. You can build the rest around that (motherboard, PSU, case, extra drive, copy of Windows).

You really should state a ballpark figure, and then we can get talking on which components are best/compatible for around that budget.
 
Well for instance, how would this do?

Memory 8 GB 1333Mhz (1x8GB) - (DDR3)

Sound Card Motherboard Integrated HD Sound


Power Supply Corsair 450W PSU - Low Noise

ok then well we spec you a £20,000 system to buy. enjoy

if you can tell us an amount you would be happy to spend then how can we tell you want to buy.
let they this. how do you want to game. on a 1080 or 4k screen? do you want console class graphics of max setting. do you play minecraft or tomb raider.
 
What's so hard to get? I want to play the stated games. I don't need any HD fancy stuff, a PC tower only that can play those two games.
 
Not sure what the issue is, but I'll put a basic build together for you :)

Do you need a Keyboard/Mouse/Monitor/Windows License?

Obviously it's not the cheapest of builds but it'll run the games without any issues on high. Let me know what you think if you fancy expanding to suit Ultra on games or if you want it cheaper :)

Build above should suit - let me know if you need any adjustments, and obviously if it's a tower upgrade you could potentially cut out the case in that build to save providing your current case has enough room for an ATX Board.

Come on man, a guy at work built one for 340 that runs Hitman very well. Like I said, I need nothing as fancy as that. Might aswell get a PS4 for 150 quid to play these games.
