Drive it right and slicks are less likely to break driveline components than road tyres

Yes pay on the day. Admission fee is per person and not car at the gates £10?. Same with running on the strip which iirc being £25 which you pay once you're in the venue.

Had to look up the terminal speed of my car on a 1/4 mile because I have no perception of how far it takes me to get to 110. Turns out its about 95MPH, so I'll be fine.

I think mine'll be under 110MPH too. I need to get a helmet at some point anyway though.
