The Disaster Artist

Just got back from watching this. Really well done, if a little slow at the start. If you've read the book you'll know what to expect from the film.

Have to say that they captured many of the original characters and scenes from the film perfectly. Not so much Greg though.
 
I watched The Room several years ago with some friends, before it had fully become the cult classic it is these days. It's hilariously bad, I wouldn't want to watch it alone but with a group of like-minded people it's quite an experience.

Seeing The Disaster Artist next week, had been tempted to watch The Room again in preparation but I think I'll go in with just my memories of it!
 
I managed to see this last week and what a great film. It isn't often that a film leaves me thinking about it for days later but this one has.

Highly recommend this one. 9/10.
 
I've been looking forward to seeing this :D

Would be hilarious if James Franco gets a Golden Globe or Academy Award for his performance :D :D
 
I don't know anything about the story behind this at all, but having seen how much positive reception it's getting I really hope that it's as entertaining as it sounds. I'm assuming going in ignorant might not be ideal but won't ruin the film as a whole?
 
I tried watching The Room but honestly, it was so bad. How did that cost $6 million ?! It looks like it had less money spent than Clerks.
