Hello,

The time has come to build a new pc since my currect build (i7 920 / Radeon 5850) is getting too slow in many ways.

I am looking to build a pc for games (PUBG, Fortnite, ESO and triple A games such as BF1) but also suitable for web- and appdevelopment & Adobe applications. The main focus will be gaming, so with that in mind i came up with:

i7 8700K
Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5
Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB DDR4 3000 CL15
MSI Geforce GTX 1080 Gaming X
Crucial MX500 250GB (for OS and most used apps/games)
Crucial MX500 1TB (for other apps and storage)
Seagate Barracuda 2TB (for storing some old stuff)
Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 650w
Fractal Design Define C TG Window
Gelid Tranquillo Rev 4

I have around €2000/£1800 to spend on the PC itself and another €500/£450 on a new monitor.
Currently i am using a Dell U2412M which i want to keep using as a second monitor and i guess i am looking for another 24" together with that.

I have been looking at the Dell S2417DG and the AOC Agon AG241QG which are both G-Sync and 1440p, but i am not sure if G-Sync is really a must or that its mostly a marketing trick to buy expensive monitors.

What would you guys recommend/change?
Thanks in advance.
