Don't forget a screen protector . Although I did hear it comes with one fitted..

Any decent places to get a tempered glass protector? Amazon just seem to have various protectors from very weird vendors with no actual feedback yet. Most of them seem to suggest they don't fit properly.

P20 glass protector from voigeer fits easily and perfectly. No bubbles. Much better than the thin plastic one which is pre fitted. About £9 for 3 at the moment on amazon

EMUI launcher is massively customisable as it is. Not sure why you'd need a different launcher.

From what I read it polarises people, some love it some hate it.

It is basically a cross between android and iOS. They did away with the app panel, so all your apps are on your homescreens.

However with EMUI 8, that's now optional.

Had an online chat with EE last night about my pre-order as it was showing that the P20 Pro was out of stock and due in the next 21 days. I explained i pre-ordered on the 30th and the guy 'bumped' me up to the top of the queue??? So no idea when I'll be getting mine

I can get a P20 Pro SIM-FREE for £620 (non-EU store that only ships locally)... I am kind of tempted even though the lack of wireless charging is a real concern. I am also a bit worried about the size as my old S7 was just perfect. Guess I need to go and try one out today in a store.

I'm sure Nova worked fine on my Mate 10 Pro.

Used Nova on my P20 Pro , doesn't feel as nippy on the Kirin but otherwise works fine.

Yeah I was wrong. You can install it. I didn't know where to set the launcher. Done it now on my view 10 and it's back to familiarity.

Bah in the end I just bought another new Galaxy S7 for £295 to replace my lost phone (which was also an S7). Fits all my criteria and is a great size.

I will look again at Huawei when the P30 comes out hopefully with wireless charging etc.

Are people still having a wild goose chase with the EE offer? Was going to suggest the P20 to someone but have told them about the Honor View 10 as a fallback if one can't be sourced or the Nokia 7 Plus.
