That awful auction site (ebay)

Send him a picture of a 7 legged spider...

Actually he may be sounding petty but if he purchased the game for his son or family member etc for a party / Birthday on the weekend and it didn't arrive until the Monday then the 32p is probably worth it to him to pass on the pain due to the ear bashing he probably got from his missus.

Report him to ebay

He's trying to extort cash from you (albeit 32p). there's nothing in Ebay policy about having to reimburse for using the wrong post. Report him

That's his own fault for buying something with a 4 day estimated delivery when what he needed was 4 day guaranteed delivery.

The delivery times on eBay are an estimate, there is no guarantee. I wouldn't refund him for something he hasn't actually paid anything for. As has been said multiple times in this thread, contact eBay and explain the situation.

To be fair this is one of my peeves with eBay. If you sell a game on a Tuesday is it so hard to stick it in an envelope and pop it down the post office within 24 hours. If you did that he would have had it by Friday even if you had sent it second class. Instead it sounds like you sat on it for at least 3 or 4 days.

That said demanding 32p is ridiculous especially if you offered free postage. Tell eBay he's withholding funds and blackmailing you and they will surely sort it out in your favour.

Depends where you live and work. Post offices are only open during my working hours (weekdays) - if I didn't work somewhere with nearby post offices, and lost of people don't, it might take me a few days to post something.

Id post him a penny a day in the post, 1st class of course.

32 pieces of card, sized to fit an envelope.
Tape a penny to each one.
Put each in its own envelope, with address but NO POSTAGE!!!
Drop in a post box, 1 a day for a month (or all at once).

Post office will deliver a 'postage due' card, he will have to pay to release it.

Or stick 32 pennies in a jiffy bag and do the above...

Or post him a cheque, with a proof of posting from the post office. Cheque is LEGALLY as good as cash, so you have paid him it. He then has to spend time to go and pay it in.

Or just phone ebay and get it sorted. Less fun, but life is too short.

if it been signed for there is no issue, contact ebay and they will close the case anyway. It doesnt matter if it was one day late according to there estimates.

and its paypal holding your funds not him. Until the case is resolved paypal wont release them.
