Looking for a cheapish phone for my dad, I've seen the Nokia 6 32GB with 5.5" 1080p screen for £200. Are there any other options worth considering at this price point?

Cheers.

I'm certainly not averse to Chinese phones, seems to be about £175 on ebay is that right?

Oh wait there's a localised version available on Amazon for about £190.

Honor 9 Lite can be had for £169 & the Huawei P Smart for £179 very similar phones in features and specs.

For anyone else looking these are worth a look. Tried them instore yesterday and design was decent. Just a shame software isn't updated quick enough but apart from Nokia at the lower end not many will be unless custom ROM.

had my honor 9 lite for 2 weeks and already had 2 updates. including one which gave use face unlock feature.

software much better than oneplus i was using before.

going to stick with huawei and honor from here on in i think. won't spend more than £200 on a phone again.

Cheers for that. Wanted to update a few Moto G3 that are in the family.

How's the camera on the 9 Lite? Video?

they don't look that great until you zoom into them then they look amazing and you can appreciate how much detail they have captured.

i'm not that much of a camera whizz but it seems to be really good especially for £150. i mean the only complaint i have is that it isn't as fast as my oneplus 3. but that was always going to be the case.

can't fault the phone at all. i wouldn't hesitate in buying one. for £150 it's a stupidly good phone.
