Guys

My sister's iPhone 6 is coming to the end of its useful life. I'm trying to convince her to go with an Android phone instead of another iPhone. She wants something of similar size and weight and so naturally is looking at the iPhone 8

I'm thinking S8 or something similar but better value for money than the iPhone. I'll probably buy it for her so total price/price per month not a factor - just want the best value for money in terms of aesthetics, performance and battery life.

Any suggestions?

Huawei p20/Pro. Emui slightly more user friendly for ex iPhone users (if she's not massively savy!). Good price /performance too

I thought about the P20 but I think the Pro is overkill for her. She just uses her phone for browsing net and listening to music. Would the p20 lite be the right choice perhaps?

Does she take slot of photos? I'd opt for a PXL2 if so..

Actually she does for her job. The plot somewhat thickens.

Having seen what is out there she actually thinks a phablet makes most sense for her. She intends to use it for photography (she's an interior designer), music (though all her collection is on iTunes so I don't know how that's going to work) and browsing.

With that being said it looks like the options are:
1. Note 8
2. Huawei Mate 10 Pro
3. Huawei P20 pro
4. LG V30

I'm thinking the Mate 10 pro or LG V30 are the best value and should be plenty good enough for her work photos too. She really doesn't like the Pixel 2 at all

Am I way off?

If she is coming from an iPhone just let her get another iPhone otherwise every single little thing thats wrong or different will be your fault.
Also is she not tied into itunes with stuff like app purchases etc?
