Subtle mechanical keyboard, blue switches, with white LED backlighting (no bling)?

I'm looking for a new mechanical keyboard. My requirements are:

* Absolutely no gamer bling. This is for typing
* Blue switches
* White backlighting
* Absolutely no gamer bling
* No numpad is preferred but not absolutely essential but I do want a normal home/end/cursor key layout
* No strict budget
* Absolutely no gamer bling

Any suggestions? I was leaning towards a Das but it doesn't seem to have backlighting.

Thank you.

MX Blue isn't that common switch and white backlightning neither so likely you don't have much choises, especially in TKLs.

For example this has blue LEDs:

This white LED version again has numpad.

RGB backlightning could also give white.
But if you want subtle styling you're not going to like MX RGB's heavy light leakage from under key caps.
Because lightsource isn't centered inside switch structure like in Romer-G, but under transparent/translucent switch frame:

In standard Cherry MX LED is under upper part of key cap.

Pretty chunky, heavy keyboards. No driver, straight forward, good value, no really obvious flaw. I like mine a lot (an old Quickfire TK).

One thing to look after is the cable connection (a basic micro-usb plug). But, after a couple of years, I haven't had any trouble, I just don't throw my keyboard around.

So, MasterKey Pro S or Pro M, white backlight, MX blue, £80. To consider :) There are other options, they tend to be more expensive (Filco, Ducky, ...). The Masterkey is good value and I'd recommend it.

I have two CM keyboards, they are very well made. Cables and connectors were the weak point on my older TK but they have solved that with the Masterkeys PBT.

If you are flexible on back lighting I would recommend getting a PBT over the Pro. You notice the PBT keycap every time you press a key but backlighting only matters when you look down.

I use a Ducky Shine 6 RGB with blue switches, in love with it but it was pricey.

It looks clean and mimialistic, and not as gamer centric as other keyboards out there.

What about Das keyboards?

Very good quality build just not sure if they do mx blues and white backlight.

+1 for the Ducky, I’ve got the Year of the Monkey (special Shine 6) very well made and a pleasure to type on. Perhaps some of the newer Ducky models may be more your style like the Ducky One 2?

Filco are also worth a look, again very well made boards with little to no bling.

There is also a new keyboard currently on mass drop called the “CTRL” that is modular and has hot swappable switches but as far as I know is only available in TKL.

Just a suggestion but you can open up your options by thinking about an RGB board and then setting the RGB colour as white...

I read the OP but it gives you a wider field to choose from and not all RGB boards look "gamery".

Thanks.

I have a K-Type mechanical keyboard with kaihua blue switches that I picked up off massdrop. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-input-club-k-type-mechanical-keyboard

Really nicely engineered bit of kit, everything is fully configurable so you can have plain white if you like and it's also worth noting that both key caps and switches can be changed with any other MX type.

Replaced an old steelseries and I absolutely love it.
