Hello gents,
So an elderly neighbor dropped his old pc into me saying it wont power on, and sure enough when you turn it on the lights flash briefly, fans rev up then all back off again. If I remove the 4 pin cpu power cable all powers up, fans at full speed, no display and only way to turn it off is to unplug it. I have tried the following; changing ram, reseating cpu, trying a different power supply, fully disassembling, cleaning and then reassembling. Any ideas?
