I have been looking for some kind of electric air duster for the PC but all of the small 'computer' ones are priced £45 upwards, however I have found many leaf blowers priced as little as £16+, my question is would one of these be OK to use on PC or would it be overkill and maybe damage the parts? and would it be able to get the harder to reach dust out or should I try and find something with a smaller nozzle option?

I've had this one for the last 3 years and wouldn't go back to compressed air. The only downside to this is there is only one speed option which some may not be too bothered about.

I just do it outside once a month on a dry day with my xpert compucleaner, it's always surprising how much dust there is after only 30 days and with decent dust filters on the case
And I wouldn't link ***elsewhere*** as OCUK have started selling the same ones recently, they're cheaper than ***elsewhere***

I have always used vacuums in the past without problem, but the whole internet seems to think that vacuums can cause static damage and maybe I am getting more paranoid of this with age and with hardware prices always going up the risk seems higher now

They are more expensive, but well built and pretty powerful for their size. They can blow and suck at the same time if you stick a nozzle on both ends, which is pretty good for collecting dust.

A mains powered air blower you’d usually use for inflating airbeds does a good job of blowing dust out. Mine came from ALDI years ago and cost about £10.

i'd agree w/ this post - what's the benefits of simply blowing dust all over the place as opposed to sucking it up and away?
I can't believe the blowing power of a compuclean is as good as the vacuum from the hoover with a restriction nozzle (usually with a small paint brush),
it would just be more manouverable ... a small compressor might work too, and be useful for other purposes (drying off bicycle parts after cleaning
