Hey guys,

My Dad is after a new PC. He uses it for browsing the internet and doing office type stuff.

He needs just the PC (he has a monitor, keyboard, mouse, a Windows license and a backup drive).

Get we get something decent within his budget?

Thanks a lot!

You don’t nweded a dedicated gpu, if you want new tech and from ryzen the APU for under £100 will do.

But as it’s for general and office work then this should do the job just fine. I know you mentioned a backup drive, but saving on windows I was able to include a very fast 500gb ssd, so that celeron is not only a quad, but had turbo, so it will perform better than my AM1 sempron quad that has no turbo which is doing my none game needs perfectly fine.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
  • 1 x Primo Nano Celeron - Intel NUC NUC6CAYH Celeron J3455 Quad Core = £394.00
    • Operating System:Unwanted
    • Security Software:Bullguard Anti-Virus 2017 - 1 PC 1 Year **Offer Price**
    • Solid State Drive:Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E500B/EU)
    • Memory:Kingston HyperX Impact Black Series 8GB 1600MHz DDR3L CL9 SODIMM Kit of 2 1.35V (HX316LS9IBK2/8)
Total: £408.10 (includes shipping: £14.10)
