UEFA Champions League/Europa League 24/25/26 April *** Spoilers ***

So with Lallana and Can already out and Ox possibly dead for the season, who do we have to replace Henderson, Gini or Milner to give them a rest against Stoke? A game we can't afford to drop any points in.

Has anyone ever had a easier run to the final in recent memory? Don't get me wrong Liverpool can only beat who are before them but only Man City would really be expected to beat them from who they played. It's rather embarrassing how badly the other English Clubs have been doing in Europe considering the money spent in recent years.

My "odd attempt at logic" has been proven correct at least !

So for something to be logical now you just need something from one person to prove a point?

If you were using logic then surely you’d take into account all the posts in the thread from pool fans saying it isn’t over yet?

I was merely saying some fans here says the tie is already over.

Purdy said "no one is saying that"

Then someone did. /point proven.

It's a very simple point, why are you still going on about it?

Entertaining game, just enough left in it to make the second leg interesting. Can't see roma pulling off the comeback twice tho, surely Liverpool will score away.

What are people's issue with the pen? It seemed a fair enough call to me.

Well looks like i had a good prediction for the Liverpool game... Goals galore and Dzeko loves a goal in the champions league ;)

Football is meant to be a source of enjoyment. If you can't enjoy winning the first leg of a CL semi 5-2 and get a little carried away then you may as well pack football in altogether.

Dat sample

Also thought you meant people who could impact the result :)

I like an English team to go through too, but all I am saying is some caution need to be apply here and not think the tie is over. Bet Barcelona thought the same and it was their undoing. Part of me hope Roma do win, the whole underdog thing and it'll be a great match if they do but you just can't think this is over when the team you are playing against just did the very same thing to Barcelona of all teams for the very thing some people think will not happen.

You weren’t making any point at all, using the odd guy enjoying the moment isn’t logical when there’s plenty of other posts stating otherwise.

It ain’t over till it’s over and all that.

Looking back through the thread and we've got the same 'the oppo were **** posts' like when we stuffed City. Liverpool are going to win the CL without playing a single decent team and them all being **** when we beat them! Rock on.
ho do the away goals work. Say liverpool get 1 in the next game and they got 4 would roma go through?
Away goals work like they always do. If the scores are level then the side that scored the most away goals goes through so yes, 4-1 would see Roma through.

Ok, enough now. Raymond's never enjoyed anything in his life so not to upset him nobody can celebrate until after we've picked up our 6th CL title in Kiev.

WTF, how'd I quote that.

We did that in 2005 as well.
