So whats reasoning behind this, because last i checked Canada is a very weird dichotomy of ultra-conservative economic policy and some ultra-stupid social policies flying about, with a moron Prime Minister to boot. (man i thought Harper was awful, but Trudeau is a right waste of breath)

I mean generally vehicles are far superior in their ability to kill lots of people compared to a gun, sure you can still ruin it by crashing into a hard object, but generally... it's a lot easier to achieve with little skill involved.

It's also infinitely scarier to boot, having to be wary of vehicles of which you see hundreds if not thousands every day, vs a potentially concealed explosive/weapon.

Interesting to compare and contrast your abusive denigration of a certain group who don't have a central text or ideology that openly and explicitly endorses violence against others. To another group that absolutely do have a central text, a supposedly perfect and unalterable text, that explicitly not just condones but instructs adherents to commit violence against others.

In truth people like this guy in the van and a lot of jihadis have a lot in common.

Mass murderers are often social misfits who latch onto something which they use as inspiration and/or justification for their actions.

The difference is numbers (a lot more mass murderers cite religious texts then obscure Internet sub forums in their pre or post murder diatribes) and of course the presence of supposedly perfect, divine texts in one case and a load of often rather random **** posts on the other.

Still I guess you are only following the typical contemporary Germanic path of self delusion and destruction (which is far from a unique phenomenon limited to Germany) where you still have draconian punishments for people who hold silly, risible views openly about the countries facistic past but yet promote the mass importation of adherents of another ideology with some rather similiar totalitarian views and then suggest that its bad to challenge some of the more extreme views and practices in case it upsets them and they (prematurely) turn homicidal.
 
While the 99% of people on 4chan are edge-lord trolls who are trying to be funny, there seems to be some taking all the nonsense in and actually acting on it. I think we are probably going to see a rise of these sort of marginalised people goaded into doing something by people on the internet.

I do find it quite funny the usual 'blame the left' suspects in this thread. Just waiting for someone to post cultural marxism.
