I really think we should have tougher sentences for repeat offenders - this person has 64 previous convictions apparently...

So she could have killed him but just gets a 6 month sentence, suspended for two years... - so no punishment (for now)... might be great if she's a first time offender and a wake up call to not get in trouble over the next two years at least... but she's got 64 previous offences so it seems rather silly
next offences:
and when on bail for that....
now she's been locked up for the original 6 month suspended sentence and has the 4 months for the assaults... which is a good start... but perhaps she should have been locked up for that first offence initially given her history and they won't have had to deal with the other offences...
as for the criminal damage running concurrently - that's just silly, essentially there are no consequences for her putting a brick through a car and trashing her cell - that ought to (IMO) have added a few weeks to her sentence but instead becomes a meaningless punishment on paper.
While I'd not want a US style 3 strikes and your out where people end up with a life sentence over a tiny amount of cannabis I do think that we need to have some longer sentences for people who keep on offending.

first of the recent incidents:
Last July, Bregazzi had drunk four bottles of Prosecco and was arguing with a friend on the platform of Hanger Lane when PC Sam Chegwin intervened.
PC Chegwin pushed her in the chest in a defensive manner, ignorant of the fact she had recently had extensive breast surgery, the court heard.
Bregazzi reacted by shoving him with force, sending him toppling onto the track, just inches from the line with a fast train seven minutes away.

next offences:
On March 5, Bregazzi was seen on Stockwell Road, south London, acting "aggressively" towards two elderly ladies at a bus stop and throwing wheelie bins in the street.
She threw a brick into the road, smashing the window of a parked Ford Fiesta, before walking in front of a bus, which swerved to avoid her.
She went on to knee arresting officer PC Florina Russ in the chest before being restrained by colleagues. When later interviewed by police, she explained she was "not in a good mood".
and when on bail for that....
Bregazzi was on bail when she sprayed perfume at security officer Rashpal Mudahar at Waterloo Station on March 10.
She then caused £200 worth of damage to a cell at Brixton police station by throwing food at the walls and covering them in tomato ketchup. Crystal meth was found stuffed inside her bra, but she was not charged over it, the court heard.
