Taking the dive and getting an 8700K tomorrow, I've been using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut with my recent chips i.e 4790K, 5930K and 1800X, Should I stick with that or try some other stuff ? I have to buy new stuff anyway as I used it all up over multiple applications.

Preferably stuff that isn't as difficult as half dried concrete to spread and doesn't turn into rubber only after a few weeks :p

Thermal grizzly is the best stuff, why change.

Cooleo thanks for the input, I have Arctic Silver 5 right now that I bought yesterday but just ordered some TG Kryonaut a few minutes ago, I'll do the old mug of hot water trick to soften it up next time before spreading it :)

its not the TIM between the heat spreader and cooler you should be worried about :D

I have a 360 rad so temps aren't really an issue as I'm not pumping a lot of volts through the chip :)
