A little bit of a strange thing to ask on a forum, but have any of the bigger guys here got some fashion advice?
Basically, I'm not fat, but I sort of am at the same time (due to the proportions), but the problem I have is that my upper body is very out of proportion with my lower body; I'm 6'3", yet when I buy jeans or whatever else, my leg length size that I have to buy is short.
And with shirts, it's very difficult. Most of my height is down to my torso being far taller than most other peoples, so what effectively happens, is to get the right length, I have to buy XL or XXL shirts, but only for the length; so what happens is I end up wearing insanely baggy clothing despite my upper area being normal weight, otherwise, if I were to buy a shirt based on my weight, half the time I have a tiny bit of my stomach showing (weird issue, I know).
Now I solved the shirt issue by wearing longline shirts, and they're a fantastic invention for me lol. The problem I now have though are jeans. Straight cut, slim fit, skinny jeans all look pretty ridiculous on me due to the larger fat buildup at the top of my legs due to my legs being short. I'm looking for something that's sort of baggyish at the top of my legs, and I've never owned chinos or cargo jeans or anything like that, so wondered if that'd do that trick.
It's a very annoying issue to have, and the only way to really solve it is to lose weight which is something I'm in the process of doing, but with summer coming around the corner I'm looking for a temporary fix.
For reference, I'm 6'3" and 16st 2lbs (226 lbs).
