Stop scum trespassing at my parents hotel/property

Alright, calm down Mr. Internet Police, we were kids back then and it was a different time.

There is no "time" when theft is legal, not for centuries and as for kids, you have to be like 6 or something to really get away with that argument, I doubt a 17 year old would get away with theft for being a "kid" at 17.

I did find this sentence amusing "we weren't thieves or anything, so this keg was a massive deal". The moment you took that keg, you become a thief.

Unless you are a 6 year old who can fling full kegs over a fence :p

Small world, I know where this is. Won't say as to keep your parents privacy.

Seen it a few times when walking past anyway. Tonnes of dossers around that area during the mornings/evenings, unless you're willing to take them all on I'd just get rid

Yeah, we were total crims m8. We were all rapists and murderers when we weren't stealing kegs ;)

**Looks at 100% clean criminal record**

I have caught them myself once and offered all 3 lads a free beating, to which they declined and left.

Hmmm, not the wisest strategy.
parents are in there late 60's... Worried my Dad who is the type to go out on his own and would be at risk as he isn't in the best of health
Now with free prejudice!

Seriously, they may be harmless enough and just want a place to smoke. Ask them to leave by all means, but I doubt they're going to cause any undue health issues by simply being dirty y00fs.

So my parents should except and pick crap up each day.... Yer right

Phone the police. Keep on phoning them too. Not just a once and done. If you keep on calling them out they will eventually understand you aren't going to stop until they stop.

So them smoking drugs is actually in your favour here. Tell them they are dealing to kids, etc.

No, cool would have been giving them a beating then telling.

Hate to break it to you but it wouldn't at all.

You sound a bit simple. What people usually do when someone is doing something against the law is ring the police. You'd be surprised how much it yields better results compared to talking nonsense on the internet.

/pointless thread

Why not just ask them to keep the noise down, and clear up their own rubbish. Be nice, and say you will turn a blind eye if they follow the rules, otherwise you will have to take action to stop them staying there.
If they value the space, they might actually look after it, and keep it clear of other oiks?

At least you would have given them the chance. I guess you might have burned that bridge though...

I did not say that?

Continue with your strategy and see how that works for you. Here's a hint.... it won't. If anything, antagonising them will increase the issues you're seeing.

My point (although I suspect it is lost on you) was that you would get better results if you spoke to them nicely. You could even mention that your parents are older and that it causes them hassle having to clean up the mess. Finish this off by putting up a sign saying that the shelter belongs to the hotel and that littering will be reported, then ask the police to swing by once in a while to catch anyone trespassing.

Stop them getting in and you won't have this issue at all.

Is it the rubbish that's the issue or them being there?

If its just the rubbish then the easiest solution may be installing a bin and telling them as long as it's kept tidy then you'll turn a blind eye to the drugs
