Aston Martin V12 Vantage V600

His forum handle, yes. I have been aware of the project for some months and also it's codename, which sadly did not get transitioned to the finished product (it would have been EPIC) as it was taken from one of my passions. It is a really bespoke build, going to be special car and will look fantastic. I've never really been an Aston fan but was sitting in one of his the other week and the interior, full of leather and carbon was a gorgeous place to be.

Yep. Dreadnought would have been a much cooler name.

I think the press shots likely do not do it justice as it looks a bit crap in the pics (and I’m obviously a massive fan of the Vantage as I have one). But presumably it will look pretty fantastic in person. The price is staggering, almost worth it if it was your own pet project but pretty crazy if it’s not, which it isn’t for the other dozen. I guess that’s why you can still buy one.

I think you’d have to be the wealthiest, diehard Aston fan stump up the extra £300-400k (or more?!) over a V12 S with the power pack for this. But then a GT12 is £400k now so...

Lol at Housey trying to be all secretive about the person and the codename, begging people to ask him, and olv coming along and just saying it.

One of those passion things really, guess you have to admire that and think you're right about the pics.

I think it looks much better without the enormous gob.

I was about to say that this must make the Vantage the car with the single biggest value spread over its life. That is, an early 4.3 V8 is sub £30k and this final, final (final) edition is presumably £400k+

But then an early 997 is £20k now and a 4.0 RS is half a million so it can’t win that title. But if you went off list price...

I think the value spread is significantly more than that :)

God, he REALLY must love the Vantage.

Expensive passion bespoke cars, well out of my league for sure....though I did put a Peco on my Mini so that's much the same I guess and made it bespoke. I called it 'Brown Bullet' too. It was like this car....but browner.
