What crap do you buy that you know is probably useless?

I bought a minidisc recorder & accessories in 2003 for £250. I timed it badly because minidisc players were starting to become obsolete. I should have waited a year or so and bought a flash memory based digital recorder.

In 2010, my £250 worth of minidisc kit sold on eBay for £9

Honestly :)
I have a rack mount by my feet and the original Sony portable in the attic which I bought from Currys for £500, it made me a lot of money though.

Whilst the guitars and pedals doesn’t get the full potential from me, they are far from worthless or crap, unlike the 300+ DVDs and 60 HD-DVD I both get during the 2000’s...

used to buy loads of headphones that would end up landfill until i got the ahd 2000 ,they were just perfect for me and with the sorces i had/have

I don't even buy useless or useful things. My one if my trainers has a whole in the bottom. I buy lots of pc hw, but that's about it.

Xbox One for me, didn't really want to buy it but I was talking to the guy in the shop for ages so I thought I should just to be polite. :p Been reasonably useful as a netflix/blu ray player though.
I got it for really cheap in an Amazon Boxing deal day but I bought a PS3 very late on in life, it was only £90 but I still don't think I got my money's worth out of that.

Anything from B&M you just you have bought a knock off, it will break on first use or break overnight.

They also have staff that would be better replaced making them all jobless and let the homeless bloke and his pals run it.

I hate B&M, my GF always makes us go in there to have a look if we pass one. Walk round the whole shop and because it's all tat we buy nothing apart from the odd toiletries or bag of crisps.

I love consumerism. I love watching people buy crap they don't need, and people who succumb to marketing (my wife is awful for this). I'm extremely cynical of any claims companies make and rarely buy rubbish I don't need.

One product however is bath salts. I love a full on camp bath, with bubbles, salts, the lot. I know that bath salts are probably just salt with a colour and smell yet I always have some in the house.

Go on, own up, what crap do you buy? :D

I've never tried bath salts... don't fancy running around naked acting like a zombie.

I buy kitchen gadgets it seems.
Luckily I don't always go for top of the range though so save some money at least.

I just got an 8L pressure cooker, in summer, to try out some old stew recipies my mum talked about....

I'll probably get round to using it next winter, probably.

Bought a reflecting telescope on impulse for my 40th birthday, over £300 squids worth. (maybe i was having a mid life crysis, and it was cheaper than an MX5. :):) ) If It's been used 4 times in 10 years that's pushing it. Though generally speaking I'm just really tight and rarely buy stuff on impulse. I'm actually the opposite and a real ditherer, and read every single review I can find for weeks on end. I'm stuck in a loop with getting a dash cam at the moment, decided on a budget, read loads of reviews, watched as many video's on YouTube as I can find and still can't make my mind up.:):)

Just remembered I bought a Ukulele with the plan of learning to play it (can't play any other instrument). I quickly reminded myself that I had no musical talent what so ever so it's stuck in a cupboard so where. Only cost £30 odd so wasn't too bad.
