Which Ryanair cabin bag?

Why would you go elsewhere? I don't get what has been posted which means you wouldn't consider Ryanair.

I wouldn’t use them again anyway, for reasons that I’ve already posted, but everyone has an individual choice.
There have been a few comments that might, just might, give some people pause for thought.
In the final analysis, people do what they think, or feel, is best for them, irrespective of the price.
I’ve always been like that, e.g. some time ago, I could have a BA direct flight to Chicago for just under £400, or one that departed later with Continental, went via Cincinnati or somewhere, and still got into Chicago in time for a late dinner, at £430, I took that, because it suited me.
I think that my kid in Germany, is taking the like father like son thing to extremes though.
His step sister is getting married next month, in U.K., he could have had Dortmund to Stansted with Ryanair for either €99.12, or €102.69, but as he’ll be staying with a friend in Hounslow, he went for Hannover to Heathrow, Business Class on Lufthansa, for €239.96.
When I queried his logic, he said, “Well Dad, you’re the one who always told us that we’re only here for 70 odd years, it ain’t a rehearsal.”
Nuts? Of course it’s nuts, but he works for it, his wife and kids have never gone without, so he can spend it how he wants.

Your son took a non-direct flight from Heathrow to go to Hannover, because dear old Daddy told him to waste money. Terrific!

You post the weirdest bunch of irrelevant nonsense. You seem to do it in every thread and I can't figure out why, but it all has to do with money. Though amazingly you've managed to go a post without mentioning that you were a cabbie. Remind me massively of Diamond Mark's obsession with himself and portraying his wealthy side and the writing style of Castiel with his long, unnecessary ramblings though.

Thought I was the only one that had noticed that!

Call me what you will pal, water off a duck’s back, but if you read my post again, he hasn’t flown yet, in June he’ll fly direct from Hannover to Heathrow, then a week later he’ll fly direct from Heathrow back to Hannover.
I didn’t tell him to waste money, or what carrier to go for, he’s big enough, and old enough, to do exactly what suits him.

Another reason why I flat out refuse to fly Ryanair, unless they're the only airline who fly to a certain destination which I have to travel to! Would rather pay a bit extra to avoid all the inconvenience!

This, RyanAir, easyjet and a couple of others. Even BA is slipping these days.

Well, I'm flying RyanAir in an hour and a half, I'll let you know what I think when I land.

Yes, RyanAir are dirt cheap but they're also getting downright cheeky with what they charge for. The cabin bag stuff is hilarious since the only reason everyone has all those bags is they wanted to save cost and time by not using the hold!

Well, they seem to have gone full Ryan on this. On today's flight they were checking everyone as they entered the plane. Masses of unused space in the lockers but have to wait for checked luggage.
