What PC games are you playing?

Yeah loved Sleeping Dog when I played it last month for the first time.

Just about 6 hours into Dying Light now and have to say it's not a game you can take lightly as it will punish your complacency even if it's a brief moment. Unlike a lot of games, actually have to make use of the crafting skills and think ahead with your actions, not to mention I'm still terrified to go out at night :p

Surprisingly atmospheric too, I played SOMA not long ago with no issues but this genuinely leaves me unnerved in places which is something I didn't expect.

I had the survival game Raft on my Steam wishlist for a while. It is early access and hit Steam finally a just a few days ago.

It's not bad but needs a great deal of polishing obviously. It is a Unity driven game so performance is flaky at times. Gameplay is very good and the shark that attacks your raft constantly, rapidly becomes a nuisance as you expand the raft. It'll take about 7-8 hours to research all the items and a further hour before you reach the current 'endgame'.

6.5/10. Try to not pay £15 for this title in its current state.

Sleeping Dogs was fantastic, shame they didn't come out with a sequel tbh. Beats waiting 5 minutes to get into the single player of GTA5..

I've got SD on 3 platforms, both the Definitive and non-definitive versions of the game :o

It is and always will be imo one of the best PC/Story driven GTA style clones. Currently restarting GTAV SP after many years and blimey does it hold your hand early on in for far too long. I'd forgotten how much of a chore it is to just get started and be left on your own.

I'm currently playing through Call of Pripyat. I played it on release, but my computer at the time was barely able to run it. Roll on eight years and it actually looks pretty good maxed out. It's also an enjoyable game, albeit a little clunky.

Talking of XCOM 2, have you seen that Red Dwarf mod that adds the crew and quotes from them during gameplay?.... Prompted me to reinstall it today!

No way, that sounds alike a great idea! I miss Red Dwarf, I'll have a look for that> haven't modded XCOM 2 yet, it's great even as vanilla but i definitely want to replay it.

I'm totally underwhelmed by new releases this year (Kingdom Come, Far Cry 5) that I've begun ploughing through older games that I didn't appreciate properly first time round.

Currently playing Bioshock Infinite and it's holding up very well. :)

Possibly my favourite ever game Bioshock Infinite - you need to play the Burial at Sea DLCs too - the story line is so clever.

Do I play them after I compete the original game?
Yeah and best to do them immediately afterwards whilst the story is still fresh in your mind - make sure too that you fully understand the story from the first one - I'm not ashamed to admit that I didn't quite grasp it all the first time around and sought some explanation videos on YouTube. I think you need to be in that place to fully appreciate the story in the DLCs - they were almost too clever for me the on the first playthrough but oh boy is it amazing if/when you do realise what's going on.

Your forgetting you need to play BS2 also before Infinite.
Bioshock 2 is a great game but it isn't really linked to the overall story arc as far as I remember (and I played them all again only last year)? If you've never played BS2 than it's absolutely a game you should play but I wouldn't say it's necessary to understand what going in Infinite or the Buried at Sea DLCs; you could actually skip BS2 in terms of following the full story.

I recently got the EA Orgin pass, and found out Mass Effect Andromeda was on there. I played the first 3 Mass Effect games and really liked them. This new one is pretty good so far, the animations and voice acting are impressive. I think the characters are colourful but not so much so that they are cartoonishly stereotypical. It does what the original games did well; which is a lot of world building, so I am keen to complete this game.
