the standard issue fan that comes with the elite 110 case has become noisy(will need a clean anyways), so its the loudest thing in the case and so as its the only fan installed and will ever be installed it needs to be quiet also, i also want to add some colour so without wanted to spend much, i have short listed these ones.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £41.90 (includes shipping: £6.02)

but other than having nice colours, are they actually any good and also be silent?

thanks for reply.

funny you should mention that, i do have a red led strip i salvaged from my haswell build, if i can find the power bit then i just might test it works still, but equally i like the lights on a fan and never had RGB stuff.

Fancy looking and translucent/parent plastics can be lot more prone to resonances than normal plastic.
So hard to say which of those are acoustically good.

I mean once tested one such Akasa fan.
At low speeds it had bearing/motor noises and when airflow noises should have started dominating sound signature it started ringing because of resonances.

Could use any of a number of very nice non-LED fans with Phanteks Halos, but they cost as much as fans do

PH-F140MP are quite good and on special 2-pack for £16.26 .. that is only £8.13 each.

Arguably the best fans are be quiet! Silent Wings 3, but at £20.99 they are not cheap and are black/black so as good as black/white when using LEDs
