PUBG Sues Fortnite over Copyright Infringement

From what I've seen, the PUBG devs are quite the ***** and not actually that good at making games. Epic are far better developers and their products are of a much higher quality.

Oh well. Epic has them by the balls because PUBG is licensing their engine. So it could come back to bite them if they decide they aren't going to grant them a license when renewal time comes around.

And fortnite is aimed at suckers prepared to throw money at a £15 skin every 3 days..
For me, Fortnite has the best model of paying I've ever seen in a game. It caters to every possible budget from nothing at all, £8 for the battle pass which grants vbucks which you can then use to buy every future battle pass. Or sure, the people who want every skin now and won't wait so spend £100s.

Epic have been amazing at the general level of support too. A far cry from the micro transaction/lootbox laden crap we see in most modern games.

So instead of just connecting the PC to the TV you choose to play at close to 20fps on the Xbox instead, right...

Wait so you connect your pc up to the tv and then play against all the mouse and keyboard players with your gamepad, right.....

This is getting good, the thread is starting to show elements of all the best stuff:

Pubg vs Fortnite

PC vs console

M&KB vs controller

The moral high ground is still fairly empty although a few have made some indications that that's exactly where they'll be standing by the end of today so let's keep an eye on things!

Tune in next time for more drama from The GD Chronicles.

PS. Can you guys also lay the foundation for monitor vs telly as well please? We don't want anyone feeling excluded!

I think that the PUBG guy thought that the money coming in from the game and the share going to Epic was enough of a barrier for just pulling engine, otherwise Epic would have done it already.

monitor>tv, there's significantly more options like 120+hz refresh rates, higher resolutions and better colours and functionality wise a monitor will be better than a tv of the equivalent price.

happy?

Two words on Xbox One X PUBG vs PC PUBG

No hacks

i think you've just described the principle console advantage for any popular/competitive pvp shooter.

although consoles aren't immune from hacks, last time i played online on a console many years ago was a cod 5 match, we all spawned in about 3 miles in the air, got promoted to maximum prestige and then immediately got banned.

that's when i gave up on online shooters.

Boy loves Fortnite, can play on his PC with his mates on PS4/Xbox. I hate it and prefer PUBG. :p Also not had any issues with it, plays great.

Do we know exactly what they are suing for?
