I've had my Samsung Note 3 for about 5 years and I love it, no need for any latest phone, does everything I want etc however it only hit me on Thursday that my Network signal is crap compared to other peoples phones.
eg
My family treated me for my 60th on Monday to Knowsley Safari Park and everybody were able to use their phones but not me.
In the evening I was in a hotel in Haughton, Liverpool and again same problem.
Tuesday another hotel in Liverpool with same problem.
Thursday went out for another birthday party to a local pub where I can never get a signal but decided to ask everybody what they were on and six of them were on EE (same as me) with full bars on their phones while I got nothing.

I've checked Google & You Tube but the suggestions/fixes haven't worked.
Any ideas?

Did any of these suggestions/fixes involve reattaching your potentially disconnected/loose antenna? You must have dropped your phone a few times in 5 years and it isn't unheard of for an antenna to become slightly loose or damaged from that kind of thing. I have no experience with that specific phone, but it's worth a Google about if you haven't already.

Believe it or not I haven't dropped it and it's also got one of those Armor cases on it.
I put it in my pocket and it's rare that it comes out unlike other people who have never got them off.
I will lokk at your suggestion though - thanks.

Dave just treat yourself to a new phone :D:p

Since I started this thread I've been looking at a lot of phones and at the moment I'm going with the Moto G6 Plus if I have to buy one.

Let us know your thoughts once you've had time to get used to it :)

It's faster than my Note 3 :)
Some nice features such as turning the LED on by shaking it, turning the camera on by twisting it.
I like Google Assistant and there's also Moto Voice that does a similar thing.
The audio playback is way better than the Note 3, might not need my dedicated DAP.
The camera is very good but then again I'm comparing to a Note 3.
This was a purchase I didn't want to make but I'm OK with it.

Nice phone for the price, it's not going to break any records for performance but compared to the Note 3 it should feel a lot smoother, although that's more to do with touchwiz vs stock then the hardware.
