*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

I think it looks excellent all round. Limited vehicle ammo, more tactical approach, recoil based gunplay, no suppression, no loot boxes or premium. At the moment there's a lot to be excited about.

I just want to see more fluid gameplay videos instead of cut and paste type jobbies. I want to see a proper round of conquest to really inspect what they have done.

said it way before the usual but hey ho.very arcadey.looks like hardcore hardline.

what i will say is it looks stunning graphically.cant deny that.

A battlefield game looking arcadey and not realistic? That's quite the departure for the series...oh wait....!!

I'm looking forward to it, I'll try the BR but can't see my playing it if I'm honest - the other additions and changes look good, the vehicles seem to be a little better balanced now.

There is a lot of info in that vid, unlike the usual gamechangers, she's shown a whole round, and you can see a lot about how various mechanics work.

She stops waffling at about 10mins in thankfully.

I wouldn't say her observations were the reason to watch the vid, she doesn't come across as a seasoned BF vet to me, but what you do get to see is very interesting, even encouraging.

A lot more encouraged by what I've seen in the longer gameplay videos.

The building does seem a bit gimmicky in places, it looks like you can build stuff almost everywhere instead of in just a few well chosen spots.

The ammo bag randomly appearing in your hand is a bit disconnected. It works when you actively pick it up from boxes on the flags but having it just appear when its thrown at you from random directions is little better than just having just be added to your inventory, it's just more annoying and may well end up getting you killed. The revive animation on the other hand looks quite good.

My first observation is that the gun play is a lot more accurate. More skill based rather than the random shot spread deviation.

I think that's a good thing. As I never really got on with BF1's gun mechanics.

Looks like they have taken some of the better aspects of COD and added it like some of the UI elements.
