24 hr Twitch Charity Stream

hi all

I am going to be doing a 24hr charity stream on the 25/6/18 for birmingham children's hospital.

This will start on twitch 8/9am on the monday playing multiple games and finish the following morning, this is something close to use as our daughter attended here when we lived in midlands before moving south wales, as she was born with multiple cysts on one kidney.

not to put a dampner on things - and it is without a doubt a good and worthy cause. but surely you would get more of a response doing something that is more of a chore.......the idea of sponsoring someone to play a computer game is, well, odd. do a fun run, do something challenging

playing games isn't going to attract the same level of interest, people that don't know you will be thinking...... 'meh, some random dude playing games why would i want to be sponsoring/donating to that, he;s just having a bit of fun'

do something physically challenging or something where you actually have to put yourself 'out' and you'd likely garner more interest and support from strangers.

that all aside, good luck and i hope you raise a decent sum

understand your point, end of day people have an opinion.

I have chosen to do this and Ill enjoy doing it for a worthy cause.

and i applaud you but the fact you're going to 'enjoy it' is part of the reason you'll miss out on donations. people will more willingly part with thier readies if they think you're suffering :p but anyway, good luck buddy and i'll ty and tune in and bring some viewers your way.

thank you, i can always throw in a few extra while streaming, like a head shave etc to add abit extra

I'll try and watch you for a few on the day bud. But as you said, try and throw something different in.

£100 - Head Shave
£200 - Leg Wax
£300 - Back, Sack and Crack

that's the spirit - let people see you suffering, they love it!!

couple of years ago a few of us got our chests waxed for some charity thing in the local, was all fun and a few quid was being put in the kitty. as it came to the end someone drunkenly suggested waxing our armpits:eek: being slightly under the influence we agreed. the waxer, now also under the influence made a total hash of the first guy and the blood was running down his arm in floods but rather than it ruining the whole thing a bidding war exploded trying to convince the rest of us to get it done as we had now backed out!!...think we quadrupled the original money we had made simply off the back of a bit of blood and pain!! :p
